Report

Report:Eddy on first as normal had to go early (babysitting). Started off slow but then came back as he tried to impress his daughter watching for the first time. However yesterdays epic 5 setter took its toll as he lost a close 4th game.

El Capitano was sent back to school in this game. He will remain nameless however his coaching fee may increase more than normal inflation! Quoted “its good to see Giles look like a beginner on court” However it was true and driving through Wakefield at 11pm I saw most people were more stable on their feet than I was on court! Well earned 11 points unfortunately not in the same game.

Mr T a Skookum of a man was up against someone of similar statue (déjà vu). Brad was celebrating his birthday tonight and was presented with numerous presents from the ever kind Mr T. Brad had a slight wobble but Mr T did not want to spoil his day.

Casey’s direct debit has stopped as the bank froze his account (something to do with irregular activity – words like Renegade, Misfit Vapour & Spark appearing on his statements and large increase in spending).

Del Boy put this behind him and produced some quality squash to try and bring some respect back to the score line however Mark was far to steady and Andy finished on the same score line as me (With slightly more points!).

Bob showed more fight than the whole team and produced a cracking game against Peter that had the whole club on edge. Awesome, fantastic squash, unbelievable, has that ball got snow on? How old are these guys? Were all words being whispered by an appreciative crowd.

It was not to be. We went down 0-5

Sausage casserole went down a treat and has been requested again. Del Boy looked grumpy as he left I do hope June has not drunk all his Cider!!

Ponte order agreed by both teams ok with us as we requested 5 to go on first.
