| Report: | We arrived and no courts booked but the bar was! We should have left it at that and not dirtied our kit!
Woodfield arrived on time and in force with supporters and full coordinating kits, as we negotiated two courts for the evenings play and we started on time.

It looked like one of his kids drawings tonight (a lot of effort and love but no idea what it is).

Mr T v Andrew
‘That must have been two bounces? He is not that fast. Unfortunately it was one bounce and he was faster than you.

El Capitano v The Bear
He felt sorry for me in the first and served out to avoid the bagel. I could harp on about not playing well but hat off Billy played awesome.

Bob v Jason
Once again the best game of the night (only). You all know what the score was no crystal ball required just a psychologist!
Lost 10-12 in the FIFTH!
On to the best part of the night. Bar!
Wakefield tradition now is pie (steak) and chips but due to the shop only having 8 steak pies and Woodfield requesting a veg option we had one chicken pie and one veg quiche. I only mention this because after the free lesson Billy gave me I went on and gave Emily* (Woodfield Super Supporter) a free lesson only for her and her vegetarian father to eat my chicken pie! But to be fair she did play better than me so only fair I had the quiche.
*I have been known to get names wrong and even gender so hope I got it right Bob!
